Kilimanjaro, with its three volcanic cones, "Kibo", "Mawenzi", and "Shira", is a lethargic spring of gushing lava in Tanzania. It is the most astounding mountain in Africa, with its summit around 4,900 meters (16,100 ft) from its base, and 5,895 meters (19,341 ft) above ocean level. The primary individuals known to have achieved the summit of the mountain were Hans Meyer and Ludwig Purtscheller, in 1889. The mountain is a piece of Kilimanjaro National Park and is a noteworthy ascending goal. The mountain has been the subject of numerous logical examinations in light of its contracting ice sheets and vanishing ice fields.
